This woman is Hungary. Named Erszébet Héderváry, she appears to be a mature, polite woman in her late twenties to early thirties. As a nation personification, she greatly enjoys speaking to the people of her land and tends to treat everyone with a sense of familiarity, making her easy to approach and talk to. Because of these qualities, it might come as a shock to find out she was the complete opposite when young. She was raised surrounded by men and believed she was male as well, only realizing she was a woman after reaching puberty. Despite having spent her childhood thinking of herself as a boy, she was able to grow out of this behavior with ease, embracing her newfound femininity.
While usually calm, she has a hot temper when it comes to those she finds unpleasant and can, at the turn of a switch, go from smiling to cursing—her speech pattern becoming harsher. Prideful and stubborn, she is not one to submit to others, especially not men. She is no stranger to fights as, during her youth, she fought with Prussia and was bullied by Mongolia and the Ottoman Empire, not to mention Romania, who she still hates to this day. She would also fight against Austria; however, their relationship softened after realizing her true gender, he was the only one to treat her with respect and as a lady.
Having grown quite close while under the rule of the Holy Roman Empire, she and Austria later married to support each other during the war, which resulted in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. As Austria is not the strongest fighter, she decided she would be the one to protect him and save him multiple times on the battlefield. While they have since separated by the orders of their political leaders, they remain close, and some feelings still linger between them.
